Once inside the Transporter, you'll find the cab adjusts in a number of ways, enabling you to find a driving position that is not only comfortable, but gives the best view of the road ahead. A range of air conditioning and heating options are available to help maintain a pleasant temperature inside your Transporter. There is a choice of a single or dual passenger seat which includes integral storage and makes room in the cab for up to three to sit in comfort.

Within the cab there is ample storage space, including a lockable glove compartment, door bins wide enough to take drinks bottles, drinks holders and a number of integral storage compartments. For added pleasure and security, all Transporters are fitted with an in-dash radio / single CD player (2 DIN) with 2 speakers, remote central locking and deadlocking as standard.

The Transporter delivers refined power, torque, flexibility and economy, with its range of four exciting, state-of-the-art engines - all featuring Volkswagen's LongLife Servicing regime. At the heart of every Transporter sits one of Volkswagen's amazing TDI ‘Pumpe Duese' (PD) diesel engines. Each of the TDI PD units features unit injector technology and offers more economy through improved fuel consumption.

Continual improvements to our engine range provide environmental benefits too and all Transporter engines now comply with EU 4 legislation. The 130PS and 174PS engines also benefit from a Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF), as standard, which helps cut particulates from exhaust gases. With masses of power and torque on offer, the Transporter will carry your load with ease

With an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Traction Control System (TCS) (not 4MOTION®), the Transporter offers a complete safety package that you can rely on. This is complimented by Engine Braking Control (EBC) (not 4MOTION®) which prevents the driving wheels breaking away on slippery surfaces when taking your foot off the accelerator, or re-engaging the clutch.

As standard, the 130PS 4MOTION® window van model is equipped with Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) with a brake assist system for added safety, it is also available as an option on other window van models. Other options in the cab include two side and two curtain airbags.

Driver and passenger airbags are standard, as of course are 3-point belts on all seats. With independent suspension, stable road holding and flexible engines, you can rest assured that your occupants and load will be safe, and that you'll take every traffic situation in your stride.
